The ImageJ 1.x macro language is less powerful than the other scripting languages, but is designed to be easy to learn and use. Python (Jython) Python is a popular choice among scientists. The ImageJ macro language lacks many (or rather any) tools for handling arrays effectively; this is a collection of functions which aim to help fix this. I created five macros which step by step effectively fulfill my research needs. I would like to join those macros in one effective plugin. All paths lead to java programming. But I was wondering, if there is a way, I could create 'User interface' like that:
By clicking a button, macro would run. I would specify one or two variables (Insert year of the last ring…).

You can do it using the Dialog.* macro functions. See the DialogDemo macro for an example.
So, as you can see, my little program is very straightforward. By choosing action, specific macro runs.

I am trying to write a code in macro language of ImageJ in order to automate manuel image analysis work. I have found another website to hande with this problem. Then, I have recently downloaded IMAGEJ v1.52q which is the latest version. Next, I pasted the code into the recorder of Marcos and I run the code. The execution caused 'Unrecognized Command':LoG 3D Error. I looked at plugin of LoG filters and I only found the one that is released in 2000. I uploaded this one into plugins part of the ImageJ, but I have got the same error. Please let me know if you have any solutions for this problem.
